War Games that aren't About Killing
War never changes. But perception thereof by players does. Here are nine games that deal with the subject of war in an unconventional way – rarely encouraging the player to behave like John Rambo on speed.

Plane Mechanic Simulator Description
Plane Mechanic Simulator is a simulation game developed by the independent team at the Disaster Studio. Movie Games (a member of the PlayWay group) published the production on the PC platform.
Story
Plane Mechanic Simulator takes us on a trip to England in 1940, when the RAF (Royal Air Force) was preparing to repel an attack from the German Luftwaffe on the eve of the so-called Battle of Britain. The player takes on the role of an aircraft mechanic, and his task is to take care of the machines that are taking part in the air battles.
Mechanics
In Plane Mechanic Simulator, which was released on the PC platform, the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The planes we take care of while playing are: the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1, the De Havilland Tiger Moth and the De Havilland Mosquito. Each of them consists of more than two hundred individual elements, and our duties range from simple refuelling activities to more complex tasks, such as engine repairs, patching up the hull and calibrating the cannons. In addition, in the campaign mode, we are assigned to a specific squadron, and taking care of a selected machine; in order to increase the safety of the pilot during his next missions, we have to put a lot of effort into our work - our mistake can cost the pilot his life.
Technical issues
Plane Mechanic Simulator definitely has decent quality graphics; attention should be paid above all to the highly detailed plane models. During the struggle, we are accompanied by a soundtrack which tries to warm us up to battle.
