Pixel Privateers

Pixel Privateers for PC is a science-fiction tactical role-playing game. The game was developed by the creators of Pixel Piracy - Quadro Delta studio. The creators of Terraria - Re-Logic team helped in development and publishing of this game.

Story

In Pixel Privateers for PC the player commands a team of futuristic mercenaries who set out to make their way through a mysterious space-time tunnel. Their mission is to search for new technological advancements their boss demands. The mysterious passage turns close however on the other side, and the characters find themselves trapped in a galaxy full of rival alien factions. The player has to maintain the living of the team first and find a safe way back home.

Gameplay and Game modes

Pixel Privateers for PC offers full freedom in exploring the huge galaxy - the player can fly a spaceship and visit any planet encountered. At first, many regions are dangerous, because the team is not sufficiently developed yet. However, this is the only limitation in terms of exploring this extensive environment. Through the player's actions and decisions they influence the balance of powers between the several alien factions fighting each other.

The gameplay is focused mainly on real-time battling. The player can control the entire team or give specific orders to its particular members. The game features a set of different difficulty levels so that anyone can enjoy it. The most persistent players receive the True Rogue game mode which transforms the game into a roguelike - each death is irreversible.

Pixel Privateers offers an advanced character development system. During the gameplay, the characters learn new skills and their stats can be improved for example. Carrying out research on alien technologies makes it possible to create more and more efficient armors, weapons and equipment. The game can be played either in the singleplayer or in the multiplayer mode, in which up to four players can meet.
