Crazy two-dimensional dexterity, combining the mechanics of Pac-Man and the popular "Snake" on mobile phones. By guiding the title cat, which is obediently followed by a string of small ducks, we have to lead the birds to the place of destination, taking care not to accidentally touch the end of our own tail. The game offers fun modes, slightly different mechanics and different graphic design.

Pix the Cat Description
Pix the Cat, released on PSV, PS4, etc., is a crazy arcade game, drawing inspiration from such arcade classics as Pac-Man, Bomberman, as well as Snake known especially from mobile phones. The game is created by 4-person French studio Pastagames, known, among others, from endless runner Rayman Jungle Run and various productions for the youngest players on Nintendo DS.
Mechanics
The basic variant of the game, the Arcade mode allows us to play as Pix, the titular cat. The animal moves through Pac-Man-like 2D labyrinths, absorbing eggs, which immediately turn into ducks following the cat, creating a kind of lengthening tail. The player's task is to lead the birds to the indicated places, maneuvering the cat in such a way that it does not accidentally come into contact with the end of the tail. This task can be done in "installments" by collecting the ducklings one by one - but the highest scoring method is to deliver them all to the designated place at the same time. In addition, there is also a bonus for speed of movement which increases a special combo bar.
Game modes
As the game progresses, the difficulty level increases and the levels start to feature a variety of traps and enemies that make it difficult to complete the task. For the points gained during the game, we unlock a number of bonuses, such as new level layouts, graphics, alternative voices of the narrator or ghosts of other players. The most important element, however, are two additional variants of the game. In the Laboratory mode, we play as something resembling a battery, collecting sleeping smileys scattered on the board and bringing them to designated places. However, we can only move from wall to wall and we have a limited number of moves - this makes the task difficult. The third mode, called Nostalgia, is a slightly modified version of Arcade mode. On each stage, however, we have to obtain a predetermined tail length, which can reach up to 99 ducks.
Technical aspects
In terms of graphics, Pix the Cat looks quite original with its bright and pastel colors that change as the combo level increases. Each of the game modes has a slightly different graphics design, and the Nostalgia mode deserves a special mention, offering a black-and-white color scheme in the style of pre-war cartoons, post-war characters and numerous truly slapstick gags.
