Pirate Commander is a strategy game in which we play the role of the captain of a pirate ship, who plunders ships and seeks treasures on the seas and oceans. The game offers an extensive gameplay - from providing supplies to steering the ship during battles. The Polish RockGame studio is responsible for its development. The publisher is PlayWay.

Mechanics

In the Pirate Commander we look at the action from different perspectives - the camera moves, showing us the ship from different sides (we often also see its cross-section). The main task of the player is to explore the open world and manage the ship. This requires making various decisions concerning, among other things, equipment, behaviour and morale of the crew (including e.g. diet, entertainment and amount of sleep) or fighting fires. We also deal with supplies.
