Pippa Funnell: The Stud Farm Inheritance is the first horse riding simulation endorsed with the name of a famous English equestrian, Pippa Funnell. However, this game is not only about riding – it also requires thoughtful management and problem solving skills. The player’s character is but a cog in the machine, where cooperation of the entire crew is essential for a success.

Your avatar in Pippa Funnell: The Stud Farm Inheritance is Estelle, a young but talented horse rider from Ms. Funnell’s team. The main goal is to support a good team-work of the entire crew, by getting to know your environment and solving all animosities between characters. Getting along with your colleagues is equally important as with your horse – otherwise, you can forget about dreams of winning all tournaments on your way and earning the top prizes. There are lots of dialogues with your teammates, which essentially is an element characteristic of adventure games. Of course, the core gameplay are horse riding tournaments – winning them brings tangible benefits, including access to new horse breeds or better equipment for improved control over your mount. Practically, this means that you can (just as in Need for Speed series) customize your horse, by equipping it with new bridles, harnesses, saddles, and so on, which directly impacts its performance.

The game features 10 diverse locations, e.g. Appleton village, a house interior, an obstacle course, or the stables. Your heroin may mount horses of 14 different breeds (including Palomino, Lipizzaner, Andalusian and Friesian) varying not only in appearance, but also physical capacities. The game is split into 4 game modes: Competition, Adventure, Horse Care and Horse Knowledge.
