Mechanics

In Pine Harbor we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game provides us with an open world that we can freely explore. Pine Harbor is surrounded by cliffs and dense pine forests, separating it from the rest of the settlements, and the entire area is shrouded in thick fog, making visibility difficult. We explore and get to know the remaining inhabitants, carry out quests assigned by them, and above all - collect items and resources that increase our chances of survival.

The threat of all kinds of monsters lurks here at every step. We eliminate adversaries by using firearms and melee weapons. Relying on guns is limited, because ammunition is a scarce commodity here. For this reason, it is often a better solution to act quietly and sneak behind the enemy's back, or to escape when things take a particularly unpleasant turn, rather than engaging in open combat.

The creatures become more aggressive and their activity increases after dark. It is worth barricading in a safe place (like an abandoned house or warehouse) to wait out the night. Having a shelter can also protect us against a mass attack.
