Already at first glance you can see in Pinball 4000 similarities to another production of Spidersoft Ltd. , Pinball Mania game. Both programs use the same engine and have the same options (number and speed of balls, possibility of higher resolution, etc.). The only fundamental difference is the appearance of the tables, although the authors did not avoid references, especially in the appearance of some graphic elements.

The program offers several different tables: Codename X, Fender Bender, Tennis and Casino. Each of them contains four flippers and numerous elements characteristic for this type of games: ramps, cavities, mushrooms, etc. Although in terms of the execution of the boards are much inferior to the products of 21st Century Entertainment, with which Spidersoft Ltd. studio cooperated, the whole looks very decent. Noteworthy are the numerous bonuses and the Multiball option (the ability to operate several balls at the same time), which in two-dimensional pin balls did not enjoy great popularity in the early nineties.
