Pianista

Pianista is a classic rhythm game, offering a range of game modes and difficulty levels. Its developer is the Korean studio Superb Corp. The production uses a free-to-play model supported by advertisements, and also allows you to buy additional sets of songs. You can also purchase a subscription that unlocks access to all game content. The title was also ported to consoles - as Pianista: The Legendary Virtuoso which had additional content.

Mechanics

Pianist uses a gameplay model known, for example, from the legendary Korean DJMAX series. While playing, we observe a vertical route divided (depending on the choice) into four or six paths, on which the blocks move from top to bottom of the screen; in order to reach the target, we have to tap the screen at the right moment when the block approaches the edge of the screen. Optionally, the game also allows you to use the Switch touch screen. Pianista offers several levels of difficulty, as well as the ability to control the speed of movement of the blocks, which additionally affects the complexity of the game. The production offers works by the most famous classical music composers, such as Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, and Dvorák. It is worth mentioning that it has also been enriched with network scoreboards and rankings.

Game modes

Pianista offers several basic game modes, allowing you to play alone. You can select a single song or series of songs, assigned to one of the available music sets. Players cannot compete directly with each other, but developers have made available the so-called League option, in which we compete with nine other people on a daily basis, comparing our records.

Technical aspects

Pianista offers an uncomplicated and transparent graphic design. The skins for the interface unlocked during the game were inspired by the most famous paintings in the world.
