Persian Gulf Soldiers PC
Persian Gulf Soldiers is a first person perspective action game (FPP) produced by Iranian studio Amytis Games. The story shows the struggle of elite soldiers, an Iranian commando unit, against Somali pirates operating in the Gulf of Aden.
Persian Gulf Soldiers is a debut production of Amytis Games studio. The title is an attempt by Iranian developers to respond to the popularity of such series as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or Medal of Honor.
The action of the game was set in the Middle East. An Iranian ship is abducted in the Gulf of Aden. A dangerous group of Somali pirates led by someone called Sawish is involved. Attempts to negotiate with kidnappers do not work. The government therefore decides to send an elite unit of commandos for action, with the task of rebounding the unit and eliminating the threat from the pirates.
The game abounds in spectacular combat scenes with the use of various types of firearms and explosives. The main campaign consists of a series of scripted missions in various locations (e.g. transport ship, abandoned village, pirates' hideout). For lovers of multiplayer fun, the creators have prepared a fully functional multiplayer mode with options of competition and cooperation.
From the technical side Persian Gulf Soldiers uses the potential of the popular Unity 3D engine. It allows you to generate a three-dimensional graphical environment in real time. The quality of character models and elements of the environment, as well as the smoothness of animation do not match the standards of modern AAA games, but they stand out positively from the competitive low-budget productions.
