Forsaken Fortress is a debut title from Photon Productions, combining features of classic post-apocalyptic RPGs and popular sandbox survival titles. Its story takes place after a cataclysm that wiped out most of humanity, with survivors trying to organize in groups and survive in this new reality. The developers emphasized survival aspects in the story campaign.

Action TBA (early access since 21 October 2015)

Side-scrolling action game with original mechanics, which can be described as a post-apocalyptic car brawler. Ironkraft: Road to Hell is a debut project from Invoker Studios, whose employees previously worked on Ryse: Son of Rome, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing trilogy, and even The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The game is set in a wacky alternative version of the World War II.

Racing TBA (early access since 13 September 2016)

Autoduel is an action game developed by the Pixelbionic team, in which we fight battles with other users from behind the wheel of solidly armed and armored cars. Vehicle tuning plays an important role in the game.

Action 2025 (early access since 14 April 2020)

Multiplayer shooter with elements of survival, set in an open, postapocalyptic world. Deadside is a Bad Pixel studio game that was originally released on the Steam platform in early access.

Action 2025 (early access since 08 April 2017)

An independent MMO survival game based on Unreal Engine 4. The action of Lost Region takes place in a desolated world which is slowly taken over by the ravenous nature. The available landmass was inspired by mountainous regions of North America and consists of 64 square kilometers of diversified landscape. The players are left with a number of duties, including combat, resource gathering, completing procedurally-generated tasks, and exploration.

Adventure March 2025 (early access since 22 June 2023)

Forever Skies is a Polish survival game in which we find ourselves in a world covered with toxic fumes. As a scientist we carry out research, develop an airship and try to survive the deadly environment.

RPG 05 December 2024 (early access since 15 July 2015)

Caves of Qud is a game combining mechanics of RPGs and roguelikes. We end up in post-apocalyptic world with salt deserts, which is partially generated. It's up to us how we will use our environment and how our story in each session will play out.

A proper sequel of the 2007 game STALKER: The Shadow of Chornobyl, produced by the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. We can again visit the dark & dangerous post-nuclear world of the Zone around the titular Ukrainian nuclear plant, dealing with mutants, anomalies and bandits.

An isometric action adventure game with elements of a 3D platformer. LEGO Horizon Adventures shows Aloy and the world of Horizon in a more humoristic LEGO form. We can recreate events from Horizon Zero Dawn and the additional focus is on building things with LEGO bricks.

A survival game, in which rather than struggle for survival, we live a quiet, relatively peaceful life in a postapocalyptic world. In I Am Future we play as a survivor of a global cataclysm, who has to sustain himself in an empty world and find out what caused the apocalypse.

The second expansion for the 4X turn-based strategy. Millennia: Atomic Ambitions focuses on late-game content and the uranium resources. They can be used to power the cities and to dominate the world with nuclear weapons. We can also witness results of a nuclear war.

Zephon is a turn-based 4X strategy in which we lead the survivors of humanity trying to survive in the post-apocalyptic reality of a war-ravaged Earth. We have to develop cities, collect resources, establish diplomatic relations and fight battles.

The second large expansion for the popular post-apocalyptic survival game from Bohemia Interactive. DayZ: Frostline introduces a new frozen Sakhal map with 83 square kilometers surface size. The add-on also has minor improvements, including a new fishing minigame.

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire is a jRPG with an anime style reminding of films made by Ghibli studio. We play as captain Glenn Windwalker, using an airship to travel between the sky islands, leading a group of characters and taking part in turn-based battles.

A turn-based tactical RPG set in the zombie apocalypse. Dead Season allows us to control a 4-person group of survivors. We must deal both with hordes of the undead, as well as enemies who are still alive. We can participate in open combat or try to act more stealthy.

A challenging game about surviving in a world ravaged by an unknown plague. The Last Plague: Blight is about satisfying the protagonist's needs, building shelter, crafting tools, performing research and facing threats from animals. We can play alone or in online cooperation.
