It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. As befits a true brawler game, in Way of the Passive Fist, the player has to continuously go rightwards and fight hordes of enemies by blocking and dodging both their attacks and counterattacks.

Our actions are monitored on the fly by a special system that awards points and special badges.

We can play against A.I. or other players through online or split-screen multiplayer.

The game focuses on two teams of players competing against each another - one team consists of agents and the other of rogues. The mechanics were based loosely on the classic hide & seek game. Rouge Operatives is played in rounds, during which the job of the agents is to track and eliminate all the rogues; the latter, on the other hand, have to remain undetected until the end of the round.
