Action 23 April 2015

An unusual action game with strategy and RPG features. It was developed by the independent studio Kerberos Productions. In Kaiju-A-GoGo the player assumes the role of a mad scientist who constructed the first human-controlled Kaiju machine (the term comes from Japanese science-fiction movies and refers to a giant monster, such as Godzilla). He intends to have his revenge for the bad things that happened to him when he was young. He wants to use the machines to take over the world.

A science-fiction-style online TPP shooter, the action of which was set in a postapocalyptic reality, on a land contaminated after the fall of the meteorite. Players take control of remote-controlled combat robots, which are used on a daily basis to explore the planet's surface, and after hours they participate in licensed sports competitions. The game focuses on the rivalry of two five-person teams of players.

Unusual FPS shooting, enriched with the ability to move by various vehicles. The action takes place inside a special simulator, and the player's task is to pass subsequent tests in the shortest possible time. Each of the stages can be repeated many times, screwing once achieved result and applying different strategies of action.

A TPP action game styled after retro science-fiction titles, created by ACE Team studio – known from games like Rock of Ages, Abyss Odyssey, or the Zeno Clash series. The story features the adventures of three astronauts and their robot companion, whose ship crashes on the alien planet Gravoria, and their only chance to escape is reaching the top of a massive tower.

First-person action game in survival horror style, the debut of independent Turkish-British studio Pulsetense Games. The game's plot is inspired by cult sci-fi horror films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey or the Alien series. The player assumes the role of an engineer sent on a mission to a certain space colony. As you can guess, there's more waiting for him there than just repairing damaged electrical circuits.

Humanity is fighting for the raw materials found on asteroids. The player plays the role of captain of a small mining ship trying to gain valuable resources.

Helldivers is an arcade cooperative science fiction shooter developed by Arrowhead, creators of the humorous action RPG Magicka. The game takes place in a distant future where players take the roles of the members of the elite Helldivers unit whose job is to protect the politically divided planet known as Super Earth. It was attacked by three alien races. Players have to finish procedurally generated missions in order to save mankind.

The player takes on the role of Sam McRae, the last surviving crew member to face hostile robots. The title was produced by an independent studio Point 5 Projects.

One of the last species to live on Earth is the race of misshapen creatures called the Flock. We start out as a representative of the Flock whose task is to find special artifacts.

A spin-off to the humorous series of action strategy games that focus on fighting Orcs. This time the developers from Robot Entertainment mixed in even more genres by adding MOBA and card games elements. The game focuses on multiplayer and uses a free to play distribution model with microtransactions. Two factions face each other in the game – the Human Order that was rebuilt after the events shown in the second game and the Unchained, faction that consists of various monsters.

H1Z1 takes place in an alternate world, 15 years after the discovery of the titular virus that caused a world-wide zombie epidemic. The few survivors fight for their lives, struggling against zombies, wild animals, and other surviving factions. During the game, players get the chance to build a shelter or even entire cities somewhere in the United States.

The new version was created by Big Deez Productions and contrary to the original game (which had as many supporters as it had opponents back in the 90s), Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is a modern-day fighting game, which combines elements of such classics as Streets of Rage or Street Fighter with features of 3D action games, such as Devil May Cry.

A stand-alone version of FPS shooting, which debuted in 2009 as a modification of the cult Half-Life 2. The game consists of two teams of cybernetically improved soldiers competing on the streets of futuristic Tokyo. The game combines elements of manga and cyberpunk with the features of classic Counter-Strike style network shooting.

An online action game with MOBA features set in fantasy world, and the debut project from the American studio, Motiga, established by veterans of the gaming industry led by James Phinney (StarCraft, Guild of Wars). Its story takes us to a land filled with magic and fantasy races, while the game itself concentrates on skirmishes between two teams of five people. Each player takes control of a selected hero with unique skills and equipment.

Mutiny takes us on a journey to a mysterious Caribbean island once used as a hiding place by pirates.

It was created by Yager Development, a team known for the FPS Spec Ops: The Line. The game takes you into the future, putting you amid a heated rivalry between powerful factions that aim to colonize space. As a mercenary you pick up various jobs from whoever pays the most.

A two-dimensional action game developed by Rock Wall Games. The players assume control of a unit of bloodthirsty ants that fight against other teams on two-dimensional arenas. The gameplay of Formicide is very similar to the famed Worms series, with a small exception – the game is much more dynamic, as the combat takes place in real time rather than in a turn-based system. We are left with a few typical game modes and numerous two-dimensional, terraformable zones.
