A unique point-and-click adventure created practically entirely from paper and cardboard models. The main character of the game Papetura is a lonely creature named Pape, who escapes from his floral prison and experiences fantastic adventures.

Papetura is an atmospheric point-and-click adventure game with logic game elements. The action is set in a world made entirely of cardboard and paper. The title's developer is Polish developer Tomasz Ostafin, who worked independently on the game for many years. The author was inspired by classic adventure games such as The Neverhood, games by the Czech studio Amanita Design such as Machinarium and Samorost, and animated films by the Japanese studio Ghibli. The title was also shaped by the author's fascination with microbiology and architecture.

Plot

The main character of the game is a lonely creature named Pape, who, cut off from the world, leads a sad and lonely existence in a flower prison. One day, however, he escapes and meets Tura, a magical creature he decides to take care of. Together they experience many adventures, facing dangers and fire-controlling monsters.
