An arcade battle royale Pac-Man game. Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs pits us against 63 other players, doing battle until the last Pac-Man standing.

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is the second Pac-Man battle royale, after Pac-Man 99. It was developed by Amber Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Mechanics

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs makes use of the top-down camera perspective. We play as Pac-Man, traversing mazes, eating dots and fruit, avoiding deadly ghosts. Occasionally we'll also found Power Palettes, which let us turn the tables on the ghosts and eat them as well.

Unlike in the original game, however, once we clear our maze of all dots, fruit and pellets, we can move on to another player's maze. We compete against 63 other players, only one of whom can win. Power Pellets let us eat not only ghosts, but even other Pac-Men, so we must stay vigilant around our opponents. As befitting a battle royale, the last player standing wins.
