Oxygen PC

Oxygen is a survival city-buidler strategy game. It was developed by Turquoise Revival Games, also responsible for Smart Factory Tycoon, Toy Tinker Simulator and Animal Rescuer.

Plot

The game is set in post-apocalyptic times, after most of humanity died out due to a natural disaster. Volcanoes all across the world started leaking poisonous gases into the atmosphere. These were then spread across the entire planet by wind, poisoning it.

The survivors are only able to keep on living thanks to a machine that generates oxygen via electrolysis of subterranean waters. The process, however, requires large amounts of energy, provided by burning coal. This damages the atmosphere even further, forcing humans to gradually abandon coal in favor of renewable resources.

Mechanics

Oxygen is an economic strategy tasking us with building a city in post-apocalyptic future. The player must acquire resources, construct new buildings and upgrade technologies, increasing the settlements' efficiency and unlocking progressively greener energy sources.

Survival elements are an important part of the game. The Earth's atmosphere has become toxic to humans, which means we must provide our people with a constant supply of oxygen. This makes the oxygen device the most crucial part of every single settlement.

We'll also need to face extreme weather conditions and mutants. Finding other survivors and letting them join our community is also very important.

Game modes

The game only supports singleplayer.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Oxygen are fully 3D.
