Echoes of the Eye is an expansion to the acclaimed action adventure game, Outer Wilds. The expansion introduces new challenges and areas, organically weaving them into the base game's structure.

Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye is the first expansion to Outer Wilds, a 2019 action adventure game. Like the base game, it was developed by Mobius Digital.
Plot
The expansion's story revolves around an anomaly the space program's members cannot link to any known area in the solar system. The player is sent out to investigate the matter. To discover the truth, we must face the darkest secrets held by the farthest reaches of space.
Mechanics
Echoes of the Eye doesn't significantly change the base mechanics of Outer Wilds, instead introducing new content, additional areas and quests.
Parts of Echoes of the Eye have been woven into the structure of the base Outer Wilds, making the game feel fresh again.
Game modes
The game only supports singleplayer.
Technical aspects
Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye is not a standalone expansion, requiring the base game to work.
