ORION: Prelude
A science-fiction first-person shooter, created with multiplayer gameplay in mind. The game is a commercial continuation to a Source-based mod for Half-Life 2, but unlike its predecessor, ORION: Prelude employs Unreal Engine 3.0., a much more up-to-date and advanced technology.

ORION: Prelude for PC, PS3 and X360 is a fast-paced first person shooter, taking place in distant future. The project has been conceived as a mod for Half-Life 2. Then, using UDK license, the authors decided to use Unreal Engine 3.0 technology to create a much more complex, commercial product.
Gameplay
The game reconstructs the atmosphere of an uninhibited fun, present in various older titles, which is increasingly harder to find in a constant barrage of serious games. The developers were inspired by such titles like Quake 2 (in CTF mode), Starsiege: Tribes, Counter-Strike, or a first installment of Unreal Tournament. The players can choose from three different game modes. When it comes to firepower, we have 30 weapons, accessories, and different types of grenades at our disposal. The matches take place on one of seven complex maps. Additionally, ORION: Prelude includes not only a huge choice of vehicles, but also jetpacks, or even dinosaurs.
Technical aspects
The game uses Unreal Engine 3.0 technology. Despite the independent nature of the title, the authors managed to include remarkable visuals. Large, extensive levels and huge, awe-inspiring dinosaurs are especially impressive
