IGN: 7 / 10 by Dan Stapleton
Orcs Must Die! 3 is very familiar to players of the second game but still a fun and goofy action/tower-defense challenge.
COGconnected: 70 / 100 by Mark Steighner
Orcs Must Die! 3 isn’t much of a step (let alone, a leap) forward from the last installment, but after eight years maybe it’s just enough to remind people that hey, this fun fantasy franchise is still alive and kicking. It has modest ambitions but it’s certainly not a disappointing installment, and Orc Must Die! 3’s blend of action, tower defense and puzzle-solving remains unique and entertaining.
TechRaptor: 7 / 10 by William Worrall
A co-op focus, and complicated difficulty curve can make the game stressful at times, but in the end it's worth the pain.
The main pros of the game
- Improved Gameplay Mechanics: Players appreciate the smoother gameplay compared to previous installments, with enhanced movement and a fun atmosphere.
- Graphics: The graphic design has received praise for being a significant upgrade, maintaining the cartoonish style while being visually appealing.
- Content and Replayability: The game offers a good amount of content, including more than 20 maps, new and old traps, and various game modes (endless, weekly quests, co-op, etc.), providing a solid price-to-content ratio.
- Humor and Character Dialogues: The humor and character interactions remain a highlight, contributing to an entertaining experience.
- Co-op Experience: Many players enjoy the game more when played with friends, highlighting its cooperative gameplay aspect.
The main cons of the game
- Bugs and Technical Issues: Users report various bugs, including crashes, issues with trap refunds, and problems with multiplayer connectivity, which detract from the overall experience.
- Level Design: Some players criticize the level design for being overly focused on co-op play, making solo play frustrating. Certain maps are considered confusing or unfair, especially for single players.
- Balance Issues: There are complaints about the game's balance, with some traps being underpowered and certain enemies being disproportionately strong, leading to a lack of strategic depth.
- Less Emphasis on Traps: Some players feel that the game has shifted too much towards third-person shooting mechanics at the expense of traditional tower defense elements, making it less satisfying for fans of the genre.
The features or elements that are missing from the game according to users
- More Traps and Upgrades: Many users express a desire for a wider variety of traps and more unique upgrades to enhance strategic gameplay.

Orcs Must Die! 3 Description
Orcs Must Die! 3 is the third full-fledged installment of the popular action game with tower defense elements. It is an expansion of the ideas used in the previous installments. Once again, the players have to fight off the attack of orc hordes. Robot Entertainment is responsible for the development of the game.
Plot
Orcs Must Die! 3 takes place 20 years after the events in the previous installment. The main characters of Orcs Must Die! 2 rebuilt order in the land and trained new recruits. However, the peace is disturbed by a horde of orcs.
The story campaign consists of a series of levels, in which orcs cannot be allowed to enter the fortress.
Mechanics
Orcs Must Die! 3 builds on the ideas from the previous parts of the series. The aim of the game is to repel attacks of hordes of orcs. For this purpose, the creators have prepared various traps for the players to use, which should be set up in appropriate places.
In addition to the equipment known from the previous parts, many new traps have also been implemented. Among them, there are siege machines, dealing damage on a large scale and allowing for the simultaneous elimination of several dozen orcs.
In addition to setting traps, players also have control of two heroes. They can move around the map and engage the enemies directly.
Game modes
Orcs Must Die! 3 can be played solo or in two-person cooperation.
Technical aspects
Orcs Must Die! 3 features cartoonish graphics. The artists also tried to make the combat more spectacular than in the previous editions of the series. During the subsequent stages of the game, millions of orcs appear on the map at the same time.
