Operational Art Of War: Century of Warfare Description
Operational Art of War: Century of Warfare is a compilation of strategic war games created by Norma Kruger. It consists of two main parts (so-called "Paki") of Operational Art Of War Vol. 1 1939-1945, Operational Art Of War Vol. 2 1956-2000, and various additions, such as Flashpoint: Kosovo.
It's not a few games in one box, but a logical combination of these titles into one whole, supplemented with weapons and units, making it possible to simulate any existing or hypothetical conflicts of the 20th century. Huge realism combined with a database of thousands of real units and their equipment makes this game used for staff simulations in many armies of the world.
Unfortunately, this is not an easy game to master, but a patient player rewards hundreds of hours of intellectual effort worthy of Patton or Rommel. More than 70 scenarios covering the most famous battles and conflicts of the 20th century are just an introduction, because the editor of units and scenarios allows you to simulate any war theatre with any opponents. A game worth recommending, but not for beginners or those suffering from lack of time.
