Onirike Description
Onirike is a 3D platformer with adventure game elements. The game was developed by the independent Spanish studio DevilishGames, which became famous for its 2018 Path to Mnemosyne.
Plot
In Onirike we play as the hero named Prieto. Every night, the protagonist wakes up in an oneiric world inhabited by strange characters, and his task is to discover the truth about his own nature.
Mechanics
Just like in Path to Mnemosyne, in Onirike we observe the action from behind the hero's back (TPP). Prieto travels through various locations taken directly from dreamland, jumps on platforms and avoids obstacles, as well as solves various environmental puzzles. In addition, from time to time he must sneak past the backs of his opponents or use invisibility that enables him to sneak just in front of their eyes.
Technical aspects
The three-dimensional visuals of Onirike has been maintained in an original colourful style. The characters living in the game world are hard to compare to any other organisms, and in the places we visit we can come across cucumbers of apples or bitten chicken legs the size of trees.
