OnEscapee is an action/adventure game that lets you play the role of Daniel White, a brutally abducted guest by aliens. During a battle with enemy forces, our hero manages to get out of the wreck and escape. Daniel must learn more about the current situation and try to find his way home.

Developed in 1997 by Invictus Games, the production originally appeared only on Amiga computers. It was not until eight years later that the company's bosses decided to transfer Daniel White's adventures to PeCety as well. Almost from the very beginning, the program has been rightly associated with Flashback: The Quest for Identity. A similar scenario (a lonely hero against aliens) as well as the execution leaves no illusions that the developers from Invictus Games looked at the productions of Delphine Software.

Noteworthy is the excellent audiovisual setting. Daniel is animated with over a thousand frames in 70 types of movements, which makes his behavior on the screen very realistic (for comparison, Flashback had about 500 frames of animation of the main character). An additional factor intensifying the aesthetic impressions are various effects, such as rain, mirrored surfaces or perfectly realized lights (especially in water). It is worth noting that contrary to the original version for Amiga computers, this time the authors decided to use higher resolution (640x480) and Hi-Color mode.

The game makes a very pleasant impression. Here you can shoot at a large number of enemies as well as think solidly about what was a fixed point in the Flashback: The Quest for Identity. For lovers of platformers with a character, a must-have position.
