One Piece: Gigant Battle Description
Released by fighting specialists under license of popular anime, and thus Namco Bandai, the game allows fans of One Piece to fight spectacular battles in their favorite universe.
Giant Battle is not a traditional combat game in which selected characters fight against each other in a small, flat arena. The authors created multi-level boards full of different elements of the environment that help or interfere with the fight and a specific combat system. Heroes do not fight one in one, but benefit from the help of pre-selected partners, whom they call with special cards.
The creators have prepared several game modes, among which is the Pirate Grand Prix, a single player mission module in which he traverses all the places known from the TV screen, fights and collects coins for victories.
DS users struggle with the touch screen of the console and the cards visible on it, which can be selected to summon warriors or to use special abilities. The system combines the assumptions of classic fighting with a card. In addition, each of the heroes has their own friends and enemies, with whom they work differently, which makes it necessary to think tactically in order to determine the line-up for the next clash.
One Piece: Giant Battle allows up to four DS owners to fight. The creators added to the game a place familiar to fans of the universe and all 71 characteristic characters. There are also melodies known from the anime, special attacks and voices known to everyone. The whole has retained the specific atmosphere of the series through nice 2D graphics.
