The most exciting fighting games of 2018
Injustice 2, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Tekken 7 made 2017 one of the best years for brawler games since a long, long time. So far, it seems that 2018 will have nothing to be ashamed of either.

Omen of Sorrow Description
Omen of Sorrow is the first game developed by AOne Games. The studio consists mostly of ex-members of Ace Team, who previously worked on fighting games.
Mechanics
The developers of Omen of Sorrow decided to use a setting unusual for fighting games. The players are taken to a world inspired by legends of vampires, werewolves and other monsters that lurk in the darkness. The places where players are fighting include interior of gothic buildings and the open air near the villages during the full moon. The game features twelve varied fighters taken from popular myths and scary tales. The players can fight by using Frankenstein’s monster, a werewolf, and even Dracula.
The gameplay in Omen of Sorrow is focused on one-on-one duels. Easy-to-play but advanced combat system makes learning the basic movements easy, but taking advantage of more advanced techniques requires the players to learn whole combinations of buttons.
Game modes
Omen of Sorrow can be played alone or with other players. The game features a local and an online multiplayer mode.
Technical aspects
Combat in Omen of Sorrow is presented in two dimensions, from the classic side perspective. The graphics of the game can be liked – character animations and environments are made impressively. Special effects like fire are looking nice as well. The music for the game was composed by Francisco Cerda, the creator of soundtracks for Jamestown and Gunpoint.
