An original logic game developed by the independent studio Vile Monarch. The players take part in insult duels in various environments and against a variety of different characters — we can even engage in verbal fencing with a cranky old lady, fake Russian, or a hipster. Available insults that we select from a long list can be combined into spectacular combos.

Oh...Sir!! The Insult Simulator is an extraordinary production for PC, PS4 and etc. developed by Vile Monarch, an independent studio that created Crush Your Enemies. The idea for the game was born during the 42-hour-long jam overssen by Artifex Mundi. The prototype created then — Oh... Sir! Prototype — is available free of charge.

Mechanics

The gameplay of Oh...Sir!! The Insult Simulator is based on verbal battles fought between two persons. While playing, we can face a cranky old lady, a fake Russian, or a hipster — these are the people at whom we direct out insults. There are five playable characters at our disposal, each one different in terms of appearance and voice as well as available invectives. Moreover, we can unlock Lo Wang — the protagonist of the Shadow Warrior series.

Verbal duels take place in four environments, while insults are awarded points by a special system. We select insults from a long list and may combine them into spectacular combos to gain the critical insult award which happens when our opponent is absolutely offended. The game has a specific sense of humor to it that brings Monty Python's Flying Circus to mind.

Game modes

Oh...Sir!! The Insult Simulator for PC, PS4 and etc. features single play modes as well as multiplayer gameplay variants. In Loner’s Insult Tournament Mode, we argue with a character controlled by the AI, Real-Life Friends Mode is a hot-seat mode, while Imaginary-Friends Mode lets players from all around the world insult one another over the Internet.

Technical aspects

Oh...Sir!! The Insult Simulator is characterized by simple although clear two-dimensional graphics. Moreover, all dialogues are voiced by professional actors.
