The races that will come to take place are reminiscent of famous events such as the Paris-Dakar Rally. The main difficulty the player has to deal with is the desert. His vehicle must be able to cross the sand, avoid huge boulders or quite numerous animals (camels, goats). Due to the fact that the game is focused on arcade play, he should not worry about the condition of his vehicle.
Impressives, which will come to play consists in getting to the destination in the shortest possible time. The arrows on the screen make it much easier. They show you the direction you need to follow in real time. The player does not have to follow a fixed path and can always look for valuable shortcuts. The routes are long, the completion of each section usually requires several minutes. The stretches that can be driven is a total of ten. They differ not only in appearance, but also in the level of difficulty.
Five fictitious off-road vehicles are at the player's disposal. It is worth mentioning that all of them are based on real models. Available carts differ not only in appearance, but also in behaviour on different types of surface or acceleration. In addition to choosing a vehicle, the player must choose one of the five virtual drivers. Each of them has a different driving style, but in practice it does not have a big impact on the fun. "Offroad 4x4 Wadi Basher" offers two modes - Singleplayer and Multiplayer. The latter allows five drivers to play simultaneously after the LAN.
Graphical recovery is simplified and the game has very low hardware requirements. As a curiosity it is worth mentioning that some episodes are played at night or in the rain.
