Obey Me is an action game that draws on Christian beliefs. The player is thrown into the middle of the war between heaven and hell, trying at the same time to solve the mystery of the surrounding conspiracy. Error 404 studio is responsible for the production, while Blowfish Studios has been the publisher.

Plot

In the world of Obey Me, angels and demons are waging a war, beyond the knowledge of mortals. The player takes on the role of a low-level female demon. She became a human and took a name - Vanessa Held. Together with her dog's companion Monty, she works for one of the demons, known as Ammon. The two of them join the fight between good and evil, at the same time trying to unravel the conspiracy that surrounds them.

Mechanics

Obey Me offers standard gameplay mechanics. The player moves through each location, defeating a host of enemies. In this production, the relationship between the characters is important. Vannessa's strength and Monty's magical abilities should be properly coordinated. The powers of the partners can also be combined to launch powerful attacks. For this purpose, however, it is necessary to charge the so-called Fusion belt.

In Obey Me there is also an option of character progression. Vanessa can develop her and Monty's abilities. She does this by absorbing the souls of defeated enemies.

Game mode

Obey Me can be played in two ways. When playing in single player mode, the player controls Vanessa and some of Monty's actions. It is also possible to play in a two-person cooperation, in which one person manages Vanessa and the other Monty.
