Under the provocative title "N.U.D.E.", there is nothing wrong with it. No pornography or even eroticism, and only one woman. In addition, artificial.

This is a female robot named P.A.S.S. (Personal Assist Secretary System), who needs to be taught to speak and understand the meaning of the words spoken, and finally even let him think for himself. And all this in an unusual production for the Xbox, originally intended for the Japanese market.

The player takes on the role of a beta-tester working for ARK corporation, which commissions him/her with further research. The story is fragmentary and boils down to the fact that from the initially thoughtless, but able to develop and learn quickly, the machine we have in the course of the arduous learning process to create a friendly, home assistant.

The game itself consists of five phases of action. First we teach P.A.S.S.S. to recognize objects at home and then use them and perform simple activities (turning on the TV, opening and closing the window, etc.). In the third stage, our mechanical secretary demonstrates what she has already learned, including preparing a meal for the tester on her own and reading the magazine aloud. We will also have to deal with a virus that will attack the robot software. Once we have dealt with it, we will move on to a casual game in which we will be able to experiment with the shaped mind to our will. A number of mini-games will help, thanks to which the player can make an attempt to develop something like the character or even personality of our intelligent robot.

Everything is done with the use of a microphone (purchased together with the game or a set of voice communication with Xbox Live!), because we control our client at all times directly with our voice. Only the language skills and intonation of the speaker will determine what kind of words, concepts and accompanying emotions will be put into the student's electronic skills.

It is therefore partly a simulation of artificial intelligence and partly a language learning program. A specific product with the help of which Microsoft made another attempt to conquer the Land of Cherry Blossoms. As you know, without success, since the Xbox still sells worse in Japan than the old PSOne. On the other hand, the popularization of the game in the world is not fostered by the language barrier and the lack of plans of the Redmond giant to create some local versions of this title (e.g. in English). This position is therefore potentially interesting only for a narrow circle of console importers who speak or learn Japanese and are interested in robotics.
