No More Heroes III Description
No More Heroes III is the next installment in a crazy series of action games in which the main character is a hitman by the name of Travis Touchdown. The game was developed by the Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture, founded and managed by Goichi Suda, known in the industry as Suda51. Goichi's team, formed in 1998, is responsible for a number of unique game that have gained the status of niche hits, characterized by a specific sense humor and innovative way of presenting action. This includes games such as Killer7, Lolipop Chainsaw, Shadows of the Damned, Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day, Killer is Dead, and Let It Die. The No More Heroes series was started on Wii and, in addition to two full-fledged installments, it also features a 2019 spin-off entitled Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, a story link between the second and third installments of the series.
In No More Heroes III players assume the role of an eccentric professional assassin named Travis Touchdown again. After ten years, he returns to the fictional California city of Santa Destroy, which was the arena for his adventures in the previous installments of the series. On the spot, he discovers that a huge flying platform is hovering over the metropolis. Travis arms himself with his special energy weapon and new combat gadgets and sets off to discover the truth behind the strange levitating structure.
