Nightmare Creatures is an expanded action game with elements of adventure, in which we observe the action from the third person's perspective (TPP view). The whole climate resembles such series as Resident Evil or Castlevania.

Nightmare Creatures on PC and PS1 is a powerful action game with adventure elements, in which all activities are observed from a third party perspective (TPP). The whole climate resembles such series as Resident Evil or Castlevania. The game begins in 1834 in London, where people begin to turn into monsters. It turns out that this is the aftermath of Brotherhood of Hecate's experiments, whose members dreamt of gaining superpower, but their efforts failed. Now these monsters are terrorising the city, and our task is to help its inhabitants.

You can choose between two playable characters: Ignatius and Nadia, which differ in their style of play (Ignatius is bigger and stronger, and Nadia faster and more skillful). As we have to deal with hosts of monsters during our adventure, the authors from Kalisto Entertainment studio have put at our disposal a number of different combo and weapons (pistols, multi-guns shooting in all directions simultaneously, fire bombs, etc.). In total, we are fighting with thirteen types of beasts (werewolves, zombies, giant spiders, etc.), and each level ends with a mighty boss. The atmospheric image is complemented by refined graphics (the environment was modeled in full three-dimensional) and soundtrack.
