Nickelodeon Fit

Nickelodeon Fit is another product referring to the very popular Wii Fit. This time the target group are younger users of the Nintendo console, who are encouraged to lead an active lifestyle and take care of good physical condition.

The main incentive for toddlers to do exercises is the possibility of communing with their favourite characters from TV series broadcast by Nickelodeon. These include Dora (Dora gets to know the world), Diego (Next, Diego! ), Kai-Lan (Ni Hao Kai-Lan) and Friends from the backyard (Backyardigans). These characters appear both as trainers and partners in their tasks.

There are about thirty types of exercises to choose from and an important feature of the game is that they have different applications. A young player can, among other things, improve the functioning of the cardiovascular system, strengthen the muscles of the upper or lower part of the body, work on balance or improve hand-eye coordination. The participant of the game often has the opportunity to choose the direction in which a given exercise should go. Interestingly, most of the exercises are depicted in the form of funny mini-games, such as jumping over a jump or fences, organizing bicycle rides or racing in the relay.

An important feature of this product is that it motivates the player to do exercises regularly and to constantly improve the results of individual exercises. The manufacturer has predicted the possibility of displaying daily, weekly or monthly statistics concerning, among other things, the amount of time spent at the game and achievements in particular competitions.

There are two main ways of playing. The game works with the standard Wii pilot, but you can count on more interesting and more responsive results with the Wii Fit board from the Wii Balance Board.
