A second installment in a series of platform fighters licensed by Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 focuses on fast-paced arena combat between well-known cartoon characters. The game features a singleplayer campaign, multiplayer and numerous mini-games.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a sequel to a platform fighter from 2021. It was developed by the same studio as the first game, Ludosity, with help from Fair Play Labs, and published by GameMill Entertainment. The game is licensed by the TV channel Nickelodeon.
Mechanics
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a 2.5D game. It focuses on fast-paced combat on various arenas inspired by cartoons broadcast on the titular channel. Each stage is filled with platforms, traps and obstacles players can use to their advantage.
The game features a wide roster of playable characters; some returning from the first game, some being entirely new, such as Squidward Tentacles and Jimmy Neutron. Each character has different strengths, weaknesses, a unique fighting style, abilities and special moves.
Game modes
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 features a singleplayer story campaign with roguelike elements. It tasks us with stopping Vlad Plasmius from taking over the world.
The game also features online (with cross-platform) and local multiplayer. Aside from arena combat, there are also numerous mini-games, also playable in single and multiplayer.
Technical aspects
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 features colorful, cartoonish visuals. The textures and animations have been improved compared to the first game.
