Add-on to Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingom, an RPG game released in 2018 on PC and PlayStation 4. The Lair of the Lost Lord offers several new features and improvements. A talented Level 5 team is responsible for creating the DLC.
No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Lair of the Lost Lord is an expansion to the jRPG released in March 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC. The production offers some new content and improvements in gameplay. The title was developed by the creators of the base version - Level 5. Bandai Namco Entertainment is responsible for its publising.
Plot
When playing the expansionn, we manage the same character as in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the young king Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum. The production offers additional threads about the story of each character and a new location, as well as opponents associated with it.
Mechanics
No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Lair of the Lost Lord is an expansion, so it offers gameplay similar to the base version of the game. Gameplay focuses on exploring a vast world where we meet different characters, recruit new party members and take on various challenges, as well as create our own kingdom.
The add-on introduces a few big novelties and changes. First of all, players have the opportunity to visit a new location - the dangerous Labyrinth, where you can find many dangerous enemies. Players can also encounter completely new tasks and develop additional skills within the so-called Martial Method system (the DLC offers two development paths - Gizmo Supermo and Ding Dong Discipline). Along with the expansion, the maximum character level was increased to 120.
Game modes
No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Lair of the Lost Lord does not introduce any new game modes. We can only play the game solo.
Technical aspects
No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Lair of the Lost Lord does not introduce any improvements to the graphics of the base version of the game.
