Races in which we sit at the helm of powerful cars, representing many different classes of vehicles. We compete on straight sections of the road, covering a distance of 1/4 mile.

NHRA Championship Drag Racing is another low-budget racing game released by ValuSoft. At the same time, we are dealing with a product dealing with the subject of title drag races, i.e. races that are entirely played on straight sections of the road, 1/4 mile long. However, the competitors use powerful (several thousand hp) cars that can reach very high speeds in a few seconds. At the same time it is worth mentioning that the game has a full license of the title organization NHRA (National Hot Rod Association), established in 1951. This means, of course, that all routes, vehicles and competitors are included. There are more than thirty of the latter. The game features such celebrities as John Force, Tony Schumacher and Greg Anderson. The studio Little Chicken is responsible for the production of this game, which is also famous for such titles as Underworld (PS2) or Casper: Spirit Dimensions (Gamecube).

One of the main advantages of this production is of course the ability to test more than 100 different cars, such as Funny Car, Top Fuel Dragster or Pro Stock. In addition, in the career mode, we can take care of the continuous technological development of these machines by employing appropriate mechanics for this purpose. The competition, in turn, takes place on twenty different tracks, which are, of course, equivalents of objects existing in reality. The behaviour of the machine is influenced not only by the work of the mechanics, but also by the weather conditions on the track, which have been reproduced quite realistically.

With less experienced players in mind, the Quick Race mode has also been added, in which you can enter the competitions of the drag cycle without unnecessary preparation. Visually, the NHRA Championship Drag Racing performs quite well. Of course, the most beautiful were the cars themselves, which, in addition, can be subject to effective damage. These crashes can be observed with the use of specially designated cameras. This game has quite a standard multiplayer for two people. Players race on a split-screen.
