NHL 24 is the thirty-third main installment in a series of hockey sports games, originating from 1991. It was developed by EA Sports, just like the previous installments.
Mechanics
The core gameplay of NHL 24 doesn't differ much from its predecessors. Players take part in hockey matches, leading their team to victory. There are several camera angles to choose from, though the most usual imitates a TV broadcast. The developers did their best to make the game as realistic as possible. We control a single player at a time, though we can freely switch between them.
The game stands out mainly due to its new Exhaust Engine and some gameplay improvements. Playing offensively is appropriately rewarded. The game also features new control options, such as faking passes to throw the opponent off.
Game modes
NHL 24 features singleplayer and multiplayer, local and online, as well as supports cross-platform functionality.
Technical aspects
NHL 24 features high-quality visuals. The developers have improved in-game physics and animations, giving players more control over the game and making it look more realistic.
