Nervous Brickdown is an arcade item with logical elements, prepared for owners of a two screen console from the Nintendo stable. It is a variation of the classic Breakout game, created in 1976 for the then popular slot machines. Both this production, as well as its prototype, consists mainly in bouncing the ball, which has the task of breaking the elements located at the top of the board.
Developers have prepared as many as one hundred and thirty-five different levels within ten demanding modes. Classic fun takes place in many unusual sceneries, from the depths of the sea, through the dense forest, and in space. The mobile platform, reflecting the ball, takes on unusual shapes, such as a deep-sea boat or rocket. Control takes place using components that are typical only of the Nintendo DS console.
For example, the platform moves by operating the style on the touch panel. Some tasks (most often clash with the boss) also require the use of a microphone - the opponent is defeated by blowing with the appropriate force. Its audiovisual setting is a major asset of this item. Two-dimensional graphics have been prepared in a cartoon style with the use of eye-catching colours. The soundtrack completes the game, giving it a unique character.
