Plot
Like its predecessor, NEO: The World Ends with You represents an urban fantasy genre. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of a boy named Rindo, who lives in the Japanese capital Tokyo. One day the hero is forced to take part in a murderous competition - "Reapers' Game" - played on the streets of Shibuya district. Other characters are also involved in the battle.
Mechanics
NEO: The World Ends with You is a classic action RPG. The gameplay is about exploring the location, carrying out missions, talking to the NPCs and fighting in real time.
Technical aspects
NEO: The World Ends with You has a colourful graphic design in a comic book style. The developers have also made sure that Shibuya has been reproduced as faithfully as possible.
