Neighbours back From Hell

Neighbours back From Hell is a package containing re-mastered versions of two humorous puzzle games from 2003 and 2004 - Neighbours From Hell and Neighbours From Hell 2. The set offers all the content of the original versions and improved graphics. The Farbworks studio is responsible for its development, with the support of THQ Nordic (the company took over the series together with JoWood Entertainment). The publisher is HandyGames.

Plot

In Neighbours back From Hell we play the role of Woody - a vindictive, malicious man who torments his neighbours in a fictional reality show.

Mechanics

In both games included in the Neighbours back From Hell compilation, the action is observed from the side-scrolling perspective. The goal of the game is to perform tasks that make the life of a neighbour miserable - talking about pranks, setting traps and creating various inconveniences. It is worth noting that the residents do not wait passively for what we do - if we are caught, the game will end (and they have, among other things, dogs, so we must be careful).

Neighbours back From Hell package offers all the content of both games - 25 levels in total. The first part takes place in the main character's apartment block, while the second part takes the action to a seaside resort (we sabotage, among others, a cruise ferry, hotel rooms or bars). In the second part, apart from the neighbour himself, we are also dealing with his family - his wife and son.

Game modes

In Neighbours back From Hell we can only play alone. The core of the game is the single player mode.

Technical aspects

Neighbours back From Hell improves the graphic design of both original games included in the package. We are still dealing with quite simple, two-dimensional graphics that resembles a cartoon or comic book, but the creators have again rendered all the elements in 1080p resolution, making the whole look noticeably better. A big band soundtrack also returns.
