Game mechanics

In Necrosmith we observe the action in an isometric view. The pillar of the gameplay is the creating of the undead, whom we "patch together" so to speak, from members of various creatures: harpies, zombies, skeletons, orcs, elementals or even robots. A variety of limbs, heads and other body parts (such as wings) were put at our disposal, which provide our subordinates with a variety of skills. We send the creatures bred in this way into battle to defend our tower or travel through the dark land for us and fight the enemies we encounter and gain valuable resources. We need the latter to upgrade our tower, which we can stock with various defense systems, as well as to expand our laboratory (the better equipment we have, the more powerful creatures we can create). While nothing prevents us from taking direct control of our units, we can just as well order them to stand still (so that they can defend the location they are in if necessary) or give them an order to push forward (which they will obey until they die).

Technical aspects

Audiovisual setting of the Necrosmith game was made in an old-school style. The game's graphics is made in pixel art, and we can listen to chiptune soundtrack while playing.
