The next installment of a series of sports games dedicated to American academic football, first created for the PlayStation 2 console. We take control of one of the licensed teams or create our own and climb the career ladder, leading it through the seasons to the national championship.

NCAA Football 2002 is a sports game created by EA Sports studio for enthusiasts of academic American football. This title is published alongside Electronic Arts' main series dedicated to the discipline, Madden NFL. Although the differences between these products are not too great, they complement each other well. The creators decided to introduce the possibility of exchanging players between the two games - if we save on the memory card the statistics of graduates leaving our team, we have a chance to get them in the drafts after the end of the first season in Madden NFL.

NCAA Football 2002 offers a wide range of gameplay modes. We have a single game, tournament, season or extensive training options at our disposal, allowing you to practice the individual games and improve the accuracy of passes and agility on the pitch. The main axis of the game is the Dynasty mode. Thanks to it we can lead a selected team for many seasons taking care of its best form by making transfers, organizing trainings and fulfilling specific goals. Each time we decide whether we want to direct the players during the matches on our own or limit ourselves to defining the strategy and observation of the players' struggles. After the end of the season we take part in training camps, where for special action points we stand a chance to win promising recruits.
