The next installment of one of the most popular basketball simulations, developed continuously for over a decade by the Visual Concepts studio. Firmly rooted this time by this year's NBA MVP, Kevin Durant, the game traditionally offers a wide range of single- and multiplayer modes, led by a fully licensed season of the American Basketball League.

NBA 2K15, released on PC, PS3, etc., is the next installment of the popular sports series by Visual Concepts studio. The title offers the opportunity to lead all teams in the world's most famous basketball league and more. One of the most important changes in NBA 2K15 is the use of technology for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions. The previous PC versions were based on past-gen editions. This means that all the novelties related to graphics design, physics, etc. are no longer reserved for next-gen owners only.

Mechanics

The gameplay in NBA 2K15 consists of controlling a selected team from the NBA league and leading it to successes. Our tasks include not only directing the players during the match but also making changes, determining tactics, etc. Apart from American teams, there are also those from Europe. Compared to NBA 2K14, their number has been increased from 14 to 25 squads. They are: Brose Baskets Bamberg, Budivelnik Kyiv, Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade, FC Bayern Munich, Galatasaray Liv, Hospital Istanbul, JSF Nanterre, Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, Partizan NIS Belgrade, Stelmet Zielona Gora, Strasbourg, Alba Berlin, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Montepaschi Siena, Fenerbahçe Ülker Istanbul, Olympiacos Piraeus, Panathinaikos Athens, Unicaja Málaga, Zalgiris Kaunas, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Laboral Kutxa Vitoria.

Game modes

MyPARK multiplayer mode is back in NBA 2K15. However, it has been significantly expanded, thanks to which players have received new parks, teams, reputation system and more. We play short matches (up to 15 points) by leading one out of the three teams (The Old Town Flyers, Sunset Beach Ballers and Rivet City Rough Riders), which have their own eight-court park and characteristics. Winning subsequent matches gives you reputation points, allowing you to unlock, e.g. various improvements.

Technical aspects

The soundtrack used in NBA 2K15 was selected by Pharrell Williams and includes songs by artists and bands such as Lauryn Hill, One Republic, Snoop Dogg, Lorde, A Tribe Called Quest, Missy Elliott, Junior, Basement Jaxx, No Doubt, Public Enemy, The Black Keys, Depeche Mode or Red Hot Chili Peppers.
