NBA '07 is a basketball sports game created by Sony San Diego. This is an internal branch of Sony, which means that this title can only be played on the consoles of the Japanese giant. As befits the continuation of NBA '06, the new edition brings a number of improvements and novelties.

As befits the continuation of NBA 06, the new installment introduces a number of improvements and novelties.

NBA 07 uses full NBA license, which means that we can find real-life teams, players and arenas here. In addition to the possibility of playing the full 2006/2007 season, consisting of 82 games, the creators have also prepared a large number of mini-games. For example, we can play the "Own the Court", "1 on 1", "3 on 3" or "21" (the first team to score 21 points wins) modes. There is also "HORSE", a popular street game that consists of making as few mistakes as possible - who commits a mistake, receives the letter "H", if they commit the second one, collect "O" - and so on to assemble the whole word. Of course, the point is to make sure that it is the other player who gets the less-than-honourable title of a "HORSE".

An interesting mode is "The Life", in which we get a substitute for the real life of the stars of the NBA. Players can be injured in it, appear in press conferences, and each match is discussed in a special TV studio by virtual journalists. We can play here as one of the two players ("The Kid" or "Big W"), who have separate career paths. As we progress, we develop skills of our favourite in numerous mini-games.

NBA 07 adds new animations of player movements (dunks, passes, dribbling) and slightly improved controls. It is possible to perform many spectacular tricks, such as passes without looking, or popular "alley-oops", i.e. passing to a colleague jumping under the basket, who takes over the ball in flight and ends the action with a spectacular dunk.
