Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy is a collection released on PC, PS4 and XONE and it contains four games from a very popular fighting series. All titles were made by CyberConnect2 studio.

Plot

The games are based on a manga series called Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto and its animated adaptation. They take place in the world that combines elements of oriental fantasy and modern technologies where wars are usually solved by the use of ninja warriors with supernatural abilities.

The story from the comics is recreated in an interactive way by all games. The subsequent events are turned into missions and fights with animated cut-scenes.

Mechanics

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy, released on PC, PS4 and XONE, is a collection of four games: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm from 2008, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst released in 2013 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 from 2016.

Besides the four games, this collection also has all dlcs that were released for them. This also includes a content-rich Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto, released in 2017.

All games in the collection are traditional fighting games where the core of gameplay are fights between the titular ninja warriors. There are many characters to choose from and each one of them has a unique fighting style and numerous special attacks. We can play as, e.g. Sasuke, Sai, Ino, Hinata, Gaara, Kakashi, Might Guy, Tobirama Senju, Tsunade, Nagato, Madara Uchiha or Naruto.

In addition to that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has Wall Running system that allows, in some arenas, players to fight even when running on walls.

Game modes

All games that are part of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy offer extensive story campaigns as well as various multiplayer modes in which you can play through the Internet or on the same screen.

Technical aspects

The oldest three games that are part of this collection, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 where released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Those games have now slightly better graphics – the biggest difference is a higher resolution.
