An arcade platform game developed by Metanet Software that is an updated version of N+ - a title known from portable consoles. The new version doesn’t change the mechanics of the game – as always, we assume the role of a ninja that traverses dangerous levels, trying to reach the exit and gather as many coins as possible in the process. Our character doesn’t have a weapon – their only way to get away safely is to avoid the dangers along the way.
N++ for PC, PS4 and XONE is a arcade platform game, developed by independent Metanet Software. We are looking at a expanded version of N+ - a title known from PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS consoles, which in turn was created based on N, a FOC game made available in the internet.
Mechanics
The third game doesn’t change the basic idea of the series. Once again, we assume the role of a ninja who traverses dangerous levels trying to reach the exit and gather as many coins as he can. Our hero is not armed, so the only way to proceed forward is to avoid various dangers - our mobility and various parts of the environment create a perfect opportunity to make spectacular acrobations. Time is of the essence – we are constantly accompanied by a time meter that forces us to hustle and finish the level as quickly as possible.
As mentioned, N++ for PC, PS4 and XONE doesn’t introduce any changes to proven mechanisms, focusing on introducing new content and some fixes to chosen elements. It means that we’ll be facing new levels and previously unseen enemies. The developers introduced new multiplayer modes, as well as a level editor, enhanced with a number of new options. Players can also share their levels with people all around the world (along with the ability to add levels that were created by somebody else) and fight for a spot on ranking boards for the best players.
Technical Aspects
As always, visuals are simple and two-dimensional, and the main hero is build from a few sticks. However, new version received some upgrades – the overall design was changed, with the gameplay is complemented by new, spectacular effects.
