Myth of Empires PC

Myth of Empires is a sandbox MMORPG, survival and strategy game. It was developed by Angela Game, an independent Chinese studio, and was published by Antiidelay.

Plot

Myth of Empires takes us on a journey to a fantastic continent inspired by the historical Far East. The land is plunged in conflict and it's only up to us whether we join the war or become a peaceful lord (or lady) on the domain.

Mechanics

In Myth of Empires we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). Game offers us an open world with an area of 64 square kilometers. We find there, among others, dense forests, picturesque river valleys and rocky mountains. We travel through it on foot or riding a mount. The land is inhabited not only by characters controlled by the players, but also by NPCs, who every day deal with their own issues. With the former we can establish more or less friendly relations, making alliances, founding guilds and cooperating in many fields... or on the contrary - fight for influence in order to gain the coveted crown.

Speaking of fighting - battles in Myth of Empires are dynamic, and during them we use over a hundred different weapons. As we can't do too much here on our own, we have to build the largest possible army in order to win against our opponents. However, while cavalry and infantry do very well in the open field, in the case of sieges of fortified cities the key to success is also having a variety of machines that allow our subordinates to get to the walls or break through the (not so) sealed gates.

In war, we must remember about the necessity of creating a supply network, so that our soldiers have constant access to the necessary resources. The list of resources is dominated by food, whose main source is the fields cultivated on our lands. Moreover, before throwing ourselves into the battle for influence, it is worth remembering that we might as well fall victim to an invasion. For this reason we should pay some attention to gathering resources, which serve us both to craft better equipment (such as weapons or armor), and to construct various buildings and fortifications. We also increase our combat potential by developing the protagonist and gaining new skills, as well as developing guilds.

Game modes

Myth of Empires offers multiplayer mode only.

Technical aspects

Graphics of Myth of Empires has been prepared with attention to detail. Character models and elements of their equipment are detailed, the vegetation - colorful, dense and varied, and some landscapes are breathtaking.
