The fourth installment of the extremely popular series "Myst". (the first part was published in the early 1990s). We are dealing here with an adventure played in a static environment. The fourth part of the series is a kind of return to the roots (taking into account what we saw in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst), which means that the player moves on the photorealisticly accurate boards, and all commands are given with the mouse.

The fourth installment in the very popular Myst game series (the first part was released in early 1990s). It is a classic adventure game with static backgrounds. The fourth part goes back to the roots of the franchise (when taking into consideration Uru: Ages Beyond Myst), which means that the players traverse beautiful, very detailed background locations and control the game only with the mouse.

Myst IV: Revelation aims to satisfy both the newcomers and those who already have a warm spot in their hearts for the series. Several well-known plot threads return in the game. The player gets to learn the fates of Sirrus and Achenar, the two villains from the first Myst. As a punishment, they were separated and confined in two different worlds that would serve as their prisons. The main story, however, concentrates on a disappearance of a certain girl. In order to find her, the player must travel to the two prison-worlds. It turns out that the only way for the case to come to its conclusion is to understand the motives driving the captives.
