My Stop Smoking Coach with Allen Carr NDS

My Stop Smoking Coach with Allen Carr is another installment of Ubisoft My Coach game series. This game, as the title suggests, aims to help the user quit smoking.

Allen Carr, whose name is included in the game’s title, had been a heavy smoker for 30 years – at one point in his life he would smoke 100 cigarettes a day – until he conquered this addiction, using his self-invented method called Easyway, which has now been helping smokers for years. This method is also fundamental for the game My Stop Smoking Coach with Allen Carr.

The game’s aim is to help players quit the addiction by dispelling their belief that smoking is pure pleasure in itself, as well as fighting their inner fear of consequences of quitting.

The player creates his profile and then selects one of 6 personal advisors suggested by the program. Based on the information in the profile, as well as the player’s habits in connection with smoking and everyday life in general, the advisor gives proper hints on quitting.
