My Baby First Steps is a kind of continuation of two previous titles, in which we played the role of parents taking care of children: My Baby Girl and My Baby Boy. However, while in these two titles we took care of the development of our virtual child during the first 14 months of their life, in My Baby First Steps we take care of a child between the age of one and three years.

Mechanics

The primary task of virtual parents in My Baby First Steps is to bring up a small child by learning and playing with him/her. In the virtual world of the game, this is done mainly by simple and funny mini-games, in which we teach our child to recognize shapes, name them, climb chairs, and so on. The child also requires many other interactions and, above all, attention - we must not forget to feed him or her, change clothes, wash or put into sleep at the right time.

Technical aspects

My Baby First Steps also introduces some new features to the series. First of all, the graphic design has been improved and new animations have been added. We can also assemble the wardrobe of our child by buying new clothes and accessories in the special shops. When starting the game, we will decide whether we want to choose the sex and appearance of the child or do it automatically.

My Baby First Steps has also improved the Artificial Intelligence system, thanks to which the virtual child will react to our actions. These are not limited only to mini-games, because we can also contact the child thanks to the voice recognition system.
