My Animal Centre in Australia is a continuation of My Animal Centre in Africa published in 2006. As in the case of the first part, it is a product intended for the whole family, which also stands out strongly emphasized educational values. The player again has the opportunity to play the role of a vet, giving help to various animals. It is worth mentioning that many similar products have been released on DS in the past. The console has also received such games as Paws & Claws Pet Vet, or Zoo Hospital. The game is again the responsibility of Europress, known mainly for its PS2 console titles (e.g. Smarties: Meltdown).

The basic element distinguishing My Animal Centre in Australia from the previous game of this cycle is a complete change of scenery. Known from the first part of Africa will be replaced by the title Australia. This means, first of all, that the player takes care of many completely new animal species. The list of curable specimens includes kangaroos, dolphins and koala teddy bears.

General assumptions of the game are left in a similar form. The game has a very simplified course. Animals appearing in the clinic must first be diagnosed and then cured. In the latter case, care must be taken first and foremost to meet their basic needs. The animals should be provided with food, a place to sleep, and finally play with them, combining compulsory rehabilitation with an interesting form of spending their free time. All this results in a gradual regeneration of the needs visible on the screen, similar to those of The Sims series.

Curing each animal is tantamount to raising additional funds for the clinic. The money is spent primarily on the purchase of new equipment, thanks to which the treatment process takes less time and is less painful for the pet. However, the game is not a racial economic strategy, so you don't have to fear the spectre of bankruptcy. Nevertheless, the salaries of the clinic's employees are also worthwhile. All operations are performed using the console's touchscreen. Graphically, the My Animal Centre in Australia is similar to its predecessor. The most accurate was, of course, the animals appearing in the clinic, which, in addition, is observed in a three-dimensional environment.
