Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is a follow-up to the 2012 platform game developed by Renegade Kids. The game is directed mostly to the players who finished the first installment of the series and works as a bridge to its upcoming sequel. We play as a regular kid named Max who has to save his planet from the invasion of the aliens known as the Mudd creatures.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge for 3DS and WiiU is a direct follow-up to the retro 2D platform game Mutant Muds developed by Renegade Kids that was released in 2012 on Nintendo 3DS and later on Wii U, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The game is directed mostly to the players who finished the first installment of the series and works as a bridgde to its upcoming sequel.
The Plot
We play as an ordinary kid named Max who has to save his planet from the invasion of an alien civilization known as the Mudd creatures. Max is equipped with a water gun and a special backpack that allows him to jump higher and further.
Mechanics
In terms of both mechanics and visuals Mutant Mudds Super Challenge for 3DS and WiiU is inspired by the classic side-scrolling platform games like Mario Land. The game offers forty levels that we will have to explore to find the exit and get the hidden water sprites. Collecting them is required in order to defeat the alien invaders. Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is full of all kinds of traps and dangers like chasms, shifting spikes, and aliens that attack us. One of the game's characteristic features is the possibility to move between its primary and secondary sets.
