Mount & Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars Description
Mount & Blade: Warband: Napoleonic Wars is an addition to the 2010 release of Mount & Blade: Warband, a three-dimensional action game that combines elements known from RPG production and strategy. Enlargement moves the title from the Middle Ages to the Napoleonic wars and focuses exclusively on multiplayer games. Napoleonic Wars is an improved version of the fans' fashion called Mount & Musket: Battalion. The care over the amateur addition and its commercial development is exercised by the same authors, working under the name of the Flying Squirrel Entertainment development studio.
Plugin introduces a number of improvements to the gameplay model of the basic version of the game, resulting not only from a change in the presented historical period. We take part only in multiplayer games, in which up to 250 people can participate at the same time. The title does not have a standard single-player campaign, so it drops a lot of RPG elements known from Warband, focusing strictly on combat.
Napoleonic Wars introduces more than 220 unique units belonging to five countries involved in the Napoleonic conflict. We had at our disposal a whole range of infantry units at that time (including verbilians beating the rhythm and engineering forces building fortifications and barricades), cavalry and artillery, including both standard cannons and mortars.
New to Mount & Blade: Warband: Napoleonic Wars is the Commander's mode, in which we operate our own computer-controlled AI units. The gameplay model has been improved and improved with the introduction of new fighting methods that are absent from Warband. However, the game is still based on the skills and experience of the players.
Traditionally, the creators of the series care about the realism of battlefields. The uniforms and armament we will see in the game are in line with 19th century realities, just like music. During the game, we will also hear dozens of minutes of issues and shouts of soldiers, recorded in languages corresponding to their countries of origin. The technical side of the title's graphic design has changed slightly, new animations of the environment (water, trees, etc.) have been introduced and atmospheric effects have been improved.
